Overview
Aeros is recruiting Multi-Engine Flight Instructors for Gloucester, Leeds East and Wellesbourne, with full-time, part-time and contractor arrangements available. The instructor delivers multiengine and instrument flight training, simulator sessions and ground instruction within the organisation's approved modular-course syllabi. Daily work combines direct teaching with detailed student preparation, post-flight debriefing, progress monitoring and timely training records. The role also carries responsibility for maintaining instructional standards, personal licence and medical validity, accurate logbooks and compliance with the training organisation's operating procedures. Aeros states that applications are limited to people already eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom. The vacancy includes flexible rostering and access to the academy's aircraft, simulators and training resources.
Responsibilities
- Deliver multiengine and instrument instruction in aircraft, simulators and classrooms.
- Conduct each training event under the approved syllabus and published schedule.
- Brief and prepare cadets before training, then provide a structured debrief.
- Complete cadet reports promptly after each event.
- Monitor assigned cadets and escalate performance concerns to training leadership.
- Promote flight safety, professional conduct and the academy's training standards.
- Maintain current personal licences, ratings, medical documentation and logbooks.
- Comply with the Operations Manual and applicable procedures.
Requirements
- Be eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Bring recent flight-instruction experience.
