Overview
Aries Aviation is recruiting a Navajo survey captain for single-pilot aerial survey and repositioning flights. The role combines aircraft command with project delivery, customer and operational coordination, and active participation in the company's safety management system. The captain must maintain regulatory compliance, manage operational risks and complete the documentation associated with survey missions. Candidates need a Canadian commercial or airline transport licence, instrument capability and experience in both two-crew and single-pilot IFR environments. Local familiarity, multi-engine experience, Navajo time and prior aerial-survey work are valuable, while the stated total-time minimum applies to all applicants.
Responsibilities
- Command Navajo survey and repositioning flights in a single-pilot environment.
- Coordinate with customers and operational teams to deliver survey missions.
- Maintain compliance with company procedures, regulations and survey standards.
- Participate in safety-management reporting, risk assessment and investigations.
- Complete accurate operational and aircraft documentation.

Requirements
- At least 1,000 hours of total flight time.
- Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence or Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
- Current Category 1 medical and instrument rating.
- Experience in both two-crew and single-pilot IFR operations.
- Valid passport and any visas required for assigned missions.
- Multi-engine and local operating experience are preferred.
- Navajo and aerial-survey experience are advantageous.
