Overview
Central Mountain Air is recruiting experienced Dash 8 direct-entry captains for its Vancouver base. Captains transport passengers across the regional network while maintaining a safe, reliable and positive travel experience. The position sets defined total-time, command and relevant operating-experience thresholds and requires Canadian licensing, medical certification and unrestricted employment eligibility. Relevant experience can come from multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR or turbine operations conducted under Canadian commercial operating categories. Candidates must also be able to travel to and from the United States without restriction.
Responsibilities
- Command Dash 8 passenger services across the carrier's regional network.
- Provide safe, reliable and comfortable transportation for passengers.
Requirements
- Have at least 2,000 total flight hours.
- Have at least 500 PIC hours.
- Have 1,000 hours of relevant multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR or turbine experience.
- Hold a Canadian commercial pilot licence, valid Canadian ATPL and multi-engine instrument rating.
- Hold a valid Category 1 medical certificate and passport.
- Have no Transport Canada violations or suspensions.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or valid Canadian work-permit holder.
- Be able to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card and travel to the United States.
