Overview

Central Mountain Air is hiring a direct-entry Beechcraft 1900 captain based in Winnipeg for cargo flying. The position supports the carrier’s freight network and requires a Canadian commercial pilot with a current multi-engine instrument rating and Class 1 medical. The vacancy sets detailed experience minima for total time, relevant multi-engine or turbine commercial operations, and multi-engine command. Candidates must also satisfy security, passport, work-authorisation and United States travel conditions. Turbine experience is expressly requested, along with a clean Transport Canada enforcement history.

Responsibilities

- Operate Beechcraft 1900 cargo services safely and efficiently.
- Support timely delivery across the assigned freight network.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1,200 hours of total flight time.
  • Have at least 500 hours in relevant multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR or turbine operations under Subparts 702 to 705.
  • Have at least 250 hours as PIC on multi-engine aircraft.
  • Hold a Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence with multi-engine instrument rating.
  • Have turbine-aircraft experience.
  • Hold a valid Category 1 medical certificate.
  • Be eligible for a restricted-area identification card.
  • Hold a valid passport and be able to travel to the United States.
  • Have no Transport Canada aviation violations.
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or otherwise authorised to work in Canada.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds.
