Overview

Ameriflight is hiring a Beechcraft 1900 cargo captain for its Klamath Falls operation. The pilot will conduct scheduled cargo flights under Part 135 and must meet the operator’s detailed IFR captain experience thresholds. The published profile combines substantial total and command time with specific cross-country, multi-engine, turbine-command, instrument and night experience. Candidates also need the listed commercial and medical credentials, travel documentation, communications permit and eligibility to work in the United States. Prior Part 121 or Part 135 experience is expressly required.

Responsibilities

- Command Beechcraft 1900 cargo services safely under Part 135.
- Operate the assigned cargo route in accordance with company and regulatory procedures.

Requirements

  • Meet the IFR PIC experience provisions of FAR 135.243(c).
  • Have at least 1,800 hours of total flight time.
  • Have at least 1,000 hours as PIC.
  • Have at least 500 cross-country hours.
  • Have at least 250 hours on multi-engine aircraft.
  • Have at least 100 turbine PIC hours.
  • Have at least 100 instrument hours, including 50 in aircraft.
  • Have at least 100 night hours.
  • Hold a Commercial multi-engine land certificate with instrument privileges.
  • Hold high-performance and complex-aircraft endorsements.
  • Hold a First- or Second-Class medical certificate.
  • Have previous Part 121 or Part 135 experience.
  • Hold an FCC radio permit and valid passport.
  • Be authorised to work and travel as required in the United States.
