Overview

North-Wright Airways is hiring a rotational Beechcraft 1900 captain for its Norman Wells and Yellowknife operation. The captain supports daily scheduled and charter flying, operates the aircraft and supervises the first officer safely, efficiently and on time, while meeting regulatory, customer and company expectations. The position uses a three-weeks-on, three-weeks-off rotation. Applicants need a Canadian airline transport licence, current instrument and medical qualifications, substantial total, multi-crew and fixed-wing multi-engine experience, travel documents and Canadian work eligibility. Northern and gravel flying is an advantage.

Responsibilities

- Operate the Beechcraft 1900 and supervise the first officer safely and efficiently.
- Support timely scheduled and charter flight operations.
- Meet applicable regulatory, customer-service and company requirements.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Canadian ATPL.
  • Have at least 2,500 hours of total flight time.
  • Have at least 1,000 hours in multi-crew operations.
  • Have at least 1,000 hours on fixed-wing multi-engine aircraft.
  • Hold a valid Transport Canada Group 1 instrument rating.
  • Hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
  • Hold a valid passport and required visas or travel documents.
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Northern and gravel flying experience is advantageous.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
