Overview
Norse Atlantic Airways is recruiting Boeing 787 First Officers for its London flight-crew base, with assessments beginning in July 2026. The pilot supports the Captain across preflight planning, aircraft inspection and all phases of flight, while monitoring systems, navigation and communications under company procedures. The role includes close coordination with cabin crew, ground teams and air traffic control, accurate flight documentation and participation in recurrent training. Applicants need a United Kingdom licence and medical, current right to work in the country and qualifying multicrew experience on transport-category aircraft. A 787 rating can be completed after selection, while previous Boeing and higher multicrew-jet experience receive preference.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Captain during planning, taxi, takeoff, cruise and landing.
- Review aircraft systems, weather, performance, weight and balance and NOTAMs.
- Operate and monitor aircraft systems under SOPs and manufacturer guidance.
- Follow company, regulatory and international safety requirements.
- Report safety concerns and maintain qualification through recurrent training.
- Coordinate effectively with flight, cabin, ground and air traffic teams.
- Complete flight logs, reports and post-flight debriefs.
- Maintain professional passenger and crew interactions.
Requirements
- Hold a UK CAA ATPL or CPL with instrument rating.
- Hold a UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate.
- Have at least 500 hours on multicrew CS-25 aircraft.
- Hold English proficiency at Level 5 or 6.
- Hold a Boeing 787 type rating or be willing to complete the training.
- Have unrestricted rights to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Understand aviation regulation, navigation and meteorology.
- Demonstrate sound situational awareness and decision-making under pressure.
- Previous Boeing experience and more than 2,000 multicrew-jet hours are preferred.
