Overview
Riyadh Air is recruiting a Boeing technical pilot to act as the flight-operations focal point for aircraft technical matters. The pilot liaises with Boeing, other operators, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers, represents flight operations on fleet concerns, and continues to fly on the line. The position requires long commercial-pilot and Boeing command careers, supervisory experience in a large airline, and prior checking or training authority. Candidates also need a current ICAO airline transport licence, medical fitness, high operational English, and recent command flying before joining.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary flight-operations contact for Boeing technical matters.
- Liaise with Boeing, airline operators, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Represent flight operations on new and continuing fleet concerns.
- Address operational technical issues affecting the Boeing fleet.
- Continue to operate on the line alongside the technical assignment.
Requirements
- Have more than ten years of commercial-pilot experience.
- Bring extensive experience on aircraft relevant to the fleet, including Boeing 787-family exposure.
- Have at least five years of command experience on Boeing aircraft.
- Have at least two years in a supervisory or management role within a large airline flight-operations department.
- Hold, or have held, check-airman, TRI, TRE, or equivalent approval.
- Hold a valid ICAO ATPL and unrestricted Class 1 medical certificate.
- Demonstrate ICAO English Level 5 or higher.
- Have logged at least 150 command hours during the 12 months before joining.
