Overview
Riyadh Air is recruiting direct-entry Boeing 787 captains for its Riyadh-based long-haul operation. The position is aimed at highly experienced widebody commanders who can support the airline’s safety and operational standards while its network and fleet develop. The criteria require a large multi-crew, multi-engine total and recent widebody command experience, with only operating-seat turbojet time credited. Applicants also need an unrestricted ICAO airline transport licence, current medical fitness and advanced operational English. Recent command activity is expressly required in addition to the overall experience thresholds.
Requirements
- Have at least 6,000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft.
- Have at least 2,000 recent command hours on widebody aircraft.
- Only operating-seat turbojet time is credited.
- Hold a valid, unrestricted ICAO ATPL.
- Hold a valid unrestricted Class 1 medical certificate.
- Demonstrate English proficiency at ICAO Level 5 or higher.
- Have at least 150 command hours within the previous 12 months.
