Overview

Riyadh Air is hiring a technical pilot for its Airbus management team in Riyadh. This flight-operations position acts as the principal liaison with Airbus, other airlines, manufacturers and suppliers on current and emerging fleet matters. The pilot represents flight operations on technical issues while remaining qualified for line flying. Applicants need extensive commercial-pilot and Airbus command experience, several years in an airline supervisory role and prior check-airman, TRI or TRE authority. The role also demands current international licensing, medical and English credentials plus recent command activity. It is intended for a senior operational pilot capable of combining line credibility, technical judgement and cross-organisational coordination.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary flight-operations liaison with Airbus, operators, manufacturers and suppliers.
- Represent flight operations on new and continuing Airbus technical matters.
- Coordinate the investigation and resolution of operational fleet concerns.
- Provide technical input to the Airbus management and flight-operations teams.
- Maintain line-operating duties alongside the technical assignment.

Requirements

  • At least ten years of experience as a commercial pilot.
  • At least five years of Airbus command experience on narrowbody or widebody aircraft.
  • At least two years in a supervisory or management role within a large airline flight-operations environment.
  • Held check-airman approval or an equivalent TRI or TRE qualification.
  • Valid ICAO ATPL and unrestricted Class 1 medical.
  • ICAO English proficiency level 5 or higher.
  • At least 150 hours in command during the 12 months before joining.
  • Applicants must be younger than 59.
  • Extensive flying experience on relevant fleet types, including A320-family aircraft.
