Overview
Ameriflight is hiring a dual-rated EMB-120 and SA-227 instructor pilot for its flight training department. Based in Dallas, the position delivers ground instruction there, simulator sessions in Houston and Paris, and aircraft instruction at company bases across the United States. It supports new-hire, transition, and recurrent training while maintaining consistent standards across delivery formats and locations. The instructor also evaluates pilot performance, contributes to curriculum improvements, and may provide line coverage when training demand allows. Extensive domestic and international travel is integral to the role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ground, simulator and aircraft training for new, transitioning and recurrent pilots.
- Facilitate virtual instruction when required.
- Evaluate pilot performance and produce constructive records and feedback.
- Maintain compliance with FAA, company and training standards.
- Support curriculum development and training-program improvements.
- Standardize instruction across platforms and locations.
- Provide operational line coverage when not assigned to training.
Requirements
- Hold an ATP certificate.
- Have at least 3,000 total flight hours and 2,000 PIC hours.
- Include 500 cross-country, 500 multi-engine PIC and 500 turbine PIC hours.
- Include 200 instrument hours and 100 night hours.
- Hold a current First or Second Class medical certificate.
- Be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Hold a current passport and travel internationally without restriction.
- Travel extensively and satisfy airport badging, driving and background requirements.
