Overview
Western Air Flight Academy's Rocky Mountain Metro instructor teaches from an approved syllabus under the chief flight instructor and holds students to defined safety and proficiency standards. Duties include aircraft currency, lesson preparation, regulatory compliance, continuing education, student communication, monthly CFI meetings, annual club checkout, and correct schedule use. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality flight instruction using the approved syllabus.
- Maintain proficiency in every aircraft used for training.
- Follow aviation regulations and company policies and standards.
- Prepare fully for lessons and use student training time effectively.
- Continue developing aeronautical knowledge and flying skills.
- Provide timely customer service and respond to student communications.
- Attend monthly instructor meetings and complete the annual instructor checkout.
- Use the online schedule correctly and support appropriate school activities.
Requirements
