Overview
Well Bilt is recruiting a combined CFII and private business pilot in Ocala. The pilot conducts company travel while also providing ground and flight instruction in single- and multi-engine aircraft. Duties cover safe regulatory compliance, weather and route planning, navigation, take-offs and landings, fuel planning, weight and balance, student assessment, feedback, and training records. Applicants need FAA private-pilot and instrument-instructor credentials, current medical fitness, experience in both visual and instrument operations, multi-aircraft command exposure, and a clear minimum total-time background.
Responsibilities
- Operate company business flights safely and in regulatory compliance.
- Review weather, routes, flight plans, fuel, and weight and balance.
- Provide ground and flight instruction in single- and multi-engine aircraft.
- Teach theory, navigation, take-off, landing, and instrument procedures.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate student and flight-training records.
- Exercise sound PIC judgement across business-travel assignments.
Requirements
- Hold a valid FAA private pilot certificate or an explicitly accepted regional equivalent.
- Hold a current CFII qualification.
- Hold a valid FAA medical certificate.
- Have at least 500 total flight hours.
- Be proficient in both VFR and IFR operations.
- Be qualified to instruct in single- and multi-engine aircraft.
- Bring PIC experience across multiple aircraft types.
