Overview
Trade Winds Aviation is recruiting full-time and part-time flight instructors in San Jose. Instructors teach an approved syllabus, maintain proficiency in each aircraft used for training, uphold federal and company standards, arrive prepared, and provide responsive customer service. They also attend monthly instructor meetings, complete an annual club checkout, maintain the online schedule, and pursue continuing professional development. Applicants submit pilot and instructor credentials, medical evidence, flight times, references, and personal objectives before interviews, background checks, and a paid standardisation checkout. No numeric flight-hour threshold is published.

Requirements
- Submit a résumé and cover letter.
- Provide current flight times and copies of pilot and instructor certificates.
- Provide the most recent medical certificate, personal objectives, and two references.
- Pass complete background checks.
- Complete interviews with flight leadership and an owner representative.
- Complete the required standardisation checkout at the applicant's expense.
