Overview
Toki Air is hiring Captain candidates for its regional airline operation from bases including Niigata, Okadama, Sendai, Chubu and Kobe. New hires initially join on contract and may move to permanent employment after completing company training and receiving command authority on the assigned aircraft. Candidates need at least 500 hours of captain time with a Japanese scheduled air transport operator, a current JCAB ATPL, Class 1 medical, aeronautical radio qualification and valid passport. Check-pilot, line-instructor or airline-management experience is preferred. The role covers operation of company aircraft and the operational and administrative duties associated with each flight assignment.
Responsibilities
- Operate the company's assigned aircraft as captain after completing required training.
- Perform the operational and administrative duties associated with each flight assignment.
- Complete company qualification and standardisation within the designated training period.
- Maintain current medical, radio and licensing documents throughout employment.
Requirements
- At least 500 hours of captain flight time with a Japanese scheduled air transport operator.
- Current JCAB Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
- Current Class 1 aviation medical certificate, with additional examination where age rules require it.
- Current aeronautical radio operator qualification.
- Medical certificate must have at least three months of validity at joining.
- Valid passport at the start of employment.
- Ability to complete all required company training within the designated period.
- Check pilot, line instructor or airline management experience is preferred.
