Overview

Mountain Air Cargo's ATR-42 floater first officer is home-based in the eastern United States and moves among assignments as operational demand requires. Beyond flight-deck support, the pilot completes weight and balance, supervises cargo loading and unloading, assists the captain with planning and customer coordination, and closes out trip paperwork. A Commercial or Restricted ATP with multi-engine land privileges, First Class medical, passport, U.S. work rights, 500 PIC hours, and 50 multi-engine hours are required. Total-time eligibility is either 1,500 hours or the lower minimum attached to an applicable Restricted ATP pathway, so no universal total has been recorded.

Responsibilities

- Operate assigned ATR flights in accordance with company manuals.
- Complete weight-and-balance work and supervise cargo loading and unloading.
- Assist the captain with flight planning and customer coordination.
- Complete required trip and operational paperwork.

Requirements

  • Hold a Commercial or Restricted ATP certificate with multi-engine land privileges.
  • Maintain a valid First Class medical certificate and passport.
  • Meet either 1,500 total hours or the applicable Restricted ATP flight-time minimum.
  • Have at least 500 PIC hours.
  • Have at least 50 hours of multi-engine experience.
  • Be authorised to work in the United States and accept a floating home-based assignment.
