Overview

Dassault Falcon Jet is hiring a captain for engineering and production test flying at its Little Rock completion centre. The pilot may serve as either PIC or SIC during production, completion, customer acceptance, ferry and delivery flights. Work includes coordinating with flight-test engineers, safety inspectors and business units to design flight profiles, validate corrective actions and support certification activity. The vacancy requires extensive fixed-wing command and turbine experience, an FAA multi-engine ATP, current medical certification, an appropriate Falcon qualification or relevant flight-test background, and the judgement to advance within the test operation.

Responsibilities

- Serve as PIC or SIC on production and completion test flights.
- Lead and coordinate the assigned flight crew.
- Operate customer acceptance, ferry and delivery flights.
- Support certification documentation under applicable FAA and EASA rules.
- Maintain flight-test records and navigation charts.
- Coordinate flight-test plans with engineering and other business units.
- Ensure aircraft safety during test and delivery activity.

Requirements

  • Hold an FAA multi-engine ATP licence and FAA First Class medical.
  • Have at least 2,000 fixed-wing PIC hours.
  • Additionally meet one path: 1,000 multi-engine turbine PIC, 500 Falcon hours, or 400 SIC hours within the employer's flight operation.
  • Hold a current passport issued by the country of citizenship.
  • Hold a listed Falcon PIC type rating or have production, maintenance, functional or experimental flight-test experience.
  • Be capable of progressing to Falcon PIC within two years.
