Overview
Emirates is recruiting experienced Airbus commanders for direct entry into its Dubai-based captain workforce, including wide-body flying associated with the A380 operation. Candidates need at least 7,000 total flight hours and established pilot-in-command experience on Airbus aircraft. Recency is important: at least 150 hours must have been flown on the current type during the preceding twelve months. Required professional credentials are an unrestricted ICAO ATPL, an unrestricted Class 1 medical certificate, and English proficiency at ICAO level 5 or higher. This pathway allows qualified captains to enter at command rank and bring recent Airbus leadership experience directly into Emirates' international network.
