Overview
Emirates offers its Accelerated Command programme to experienced narrow-body captains progressing toward wide-body command. Successful pilots join the airline's Airbus A380 or Boeing 777 operation and follow a structured path designed to recognise prior command experience. Applicants need extensive total time, current command experience on an accepted Airbus fly-by-wire or Boeing aircraft, an unrestricted medical, and a valid airline transport licence. The role also sets a recent-command threshold and a higher English standard, ensuring candidates arrive with current line leadership and communication capability.
