Overview
Emerald Airlines is recruiting direct-entry ATR 72 captains for its Dublin operation. The vacancy is designed for experienced commanders who can join a scheduled regional airline environment and assume full responsibility for safe, compliant flight operations. Applicants must meet a clear total-time threshold that includes significant multi-crew commercial experience on larger aircraft, as well as a recent command minimum. European licensing, medical and employment eligibility are mandatory. The role offers a permanent base in Dublin and requires pilots who can combine command judgement, crew leadership and operational discipline across the carrier's regional network.
Responsibilities
- Exercise command of ATR 72 services from the Dublin base.
- Lead the operating crew and maintain safe, compliant flight operations.
- Apply company procedures and sound judgement throughout each duty.
- Support reliable delivery of the airline's regional schedule.
Requirements
- At least 2,000 hours of total flight time.
- At least 1,000 hours on multi-crew commercial aircraft above 5,700 kilograms.
- At least 500 recent hours as PIC.
- Valid EASA flight crew licence and Class 1 medical.
- Unrestricted right to live and work in Ireland.
- Required operational English proficiency.
