Overview

Freeman Jet Center is hiring a King Air pilot in command for its Abilene operation. The role involves single-pilot Part 135 flying on King Air 200 and 90 aircraft, functional-check flights after maintenance, customer support and participation in the company safety system. The captain completes inspections and briefings, follows company manuals and may assist maintenance and trip-quoting activity. The vacancy specifies detailed FAA certificate, medical, total, command, turbine, multi-engine, cross-country, night and instrument minima. Relevant Garmin avionics experience is identified as preferred.

Responsibilities

- Conduct single-pilot Part 135 flights on King Air 200 and 90 aircraft.
- Perform post-maintenance functional-check flights.
- Follow company manuals, policies and safety procedures.
- Support maintenance, trip quoting and the safety-management system.
- Complete required inspections and passenger briefings.
- Respond professionally to customer needs.

Requirements

  • Hold a current FAA Commercial multi-engine certificate with instrument privileges.
  • Hold a current FAA Second-Class medical certificate.
  • Have at least 3,000 hours of total flight time.
  • Have at least 1,000 turbine PIC hours.
  • Have at least 1,000 hours on multi-engine aircraft.
  • Have at least 500 cross-country hours.
  • Have at least 250 hours on the applicable make and model.
  • Have at least 100 PIC night hours.
  • Have at least 75 instrument hours, including 50 actual.
  • Hold a valid driving licence.
  • Meet training, medical and drug-screening conditions.
  • Garmin G1000 or GTN 750 experience is preferred.
