Overview

interCaribbean Airways is recruiting type-rated Embraer E170 First Officers in Providenciales as it expands regional jet operations across the Caribbean. Applications close on 1 September 2026, and each candidate's licence must be eligible for validation by the Turks and Caicos Islands Civil Aviation Authority. Pilots need a current EMB-170/190 rating, multiengine instrument privileges, a Class 1 medical and qualifying total, multiengine, turbine, multicrew and on-type experience. The airline prefers regional-airline, IFR and modern EFIS/FMS experience, together with strong crew-resource and threat-and-error-management skills. Candidates must provide a résumé and a detailed breakdown of flight hours by aircraft type.

Requirements

  • Hold a CPL with multiengine instrument privileges or a frozen ATPL.
  • Hold a valid EMB-170/190 type rating and multiengine instrument rating.
  • Hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
  • Have at least 1,500 hours total time.
  • Have at least 300 hours each of multiengine, turbine, multicrew and EMB-170/190 time.
  • Hold ICAO English proficiency at Level 4 or higher.
  • Hold a valid passport; a United States crew visa is preferred.
  • Hold a licence acceptable for local validation under FAA, ICAO or EASA standards.
  • Regional airline, IFR, EFIS/FMS and IOSA experience are preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong CRM and threat-and-error-management competencies.
