Overview
JetSMART is recruiting an Airbus A320 captain for Medellín. The captain operates scheduled routes, reviews the flight plan and briefing package, assesses weather, weight and balance and fuel, and leads the crew through normal and abnormal decisions. The vacancy requires a common total flight-time minimum but offers two different command-experience pathways: jet-airline captains may qualify with a lower PIC threshold, while ATR captains need a substantially larger command total. Because those alternatives differ, no single PIC figure applies to every applicant. Candidates also need Colombian eligibility, current pilot and medical documents, English proficiency and a clean operational and background record.
