Overview

Quality Fly Aviation Academy is recruiting a full-time Flight Instructor in Madrid to train future commercial pilots within an international, airline-focused environment. The instructor conducts practical training under applicable regulations and industry standards, provides constructive guidance and contributes to a training department that includes active airline pilots. The academy operates a standardised glass-cockpit fleet and offers career development through additional instructional privileges and ratings. Candidates may already hold an instructor certificate or be willing to obtain one, but they must hold an eligible European commercial licence and medical, communicate effectively in English and Spanish, understand flight procedures and safety requirements, and have unrestricted eligibility to work in Spain.

Responsibilities

- Conduct student flight training under aviation regulations and recognised practices.
- Provide clear feedback and guidance against each student's learning objectives.
- Help students improve practical flying knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to a training department that regularly reviews standards and resources.
- Deliver training safely and consistently under academy policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid EASA CPL or ATPL.
  • Hold an EASA Flight Instructor certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • Hold a valid EASA Class 1 medical certificate.
  • Demonstrate English at ICAO Level 5 or higher and Spanish at Level 4 or higher.
  • Be eligible to work in Spain.
  • Understand aviation regulations, flight procedures and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
  • FI instrument, commercial, instructor-of-instructors or CRI extensions are desirable.
  • Experience mentoring or training junior instructors is advantageous.
