Overview

Ravenair is recruiting line training captains for its Liverpool-based AOC operation on a year-round basis. The role combines line flying with the training and development of operational personnel, simulator and aircraft exercises, proficiency checks, interviews, and related administration. Candidates need a United Kingdom-issued professional licence, current medical fitness without the stated limitation, multi-engine instrument and land privileges, and prior specialised-operations experience. The position is intended for an experienced commander who lives close to Liverpool and can maintain dependable training standards across both operational and assessment activity.

Responsibilities

- Train and develop personnel working within the AOC operation.
- Conduct operator proficiency checks when assigned.
- Deliver simulator and aircraft-based training exercises.
- Support recruitment interviews and related flight-operations administration.

Requirements

  • Hold at least a UK-issued CPL.
  • Hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate without an OML restriction.
  • Have at least 500 hours of total flight time.
  • Have at least 100 PIC hours on multi-engine piston aircraft.
  • Hold or have previously held single-pilot multi-engine instrument and multi-engine piston land ratings.
  • Have prior Part-SPO operating experience.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Live within 60 minutes of Liverpool.
