Overview
FAI rent-a-jet is accepting full-time applications for Learjet 60 captains within its globally operating team in Nuremberg. The position combines worldwide air-ambulance missions with occasional VIP passenger flights. Captains are expected to pair safe aircraft command with professional service, dependable judgment, and clear communication while representing the operator to international patients and clients. Missions can involve varied operational conditions and destinations, including crisis regions, and require close cooperation with a multinational crew, dispatch personnel, and technical staff. The employer identifies operational readiness, safe Learjet 60 operation, and the safety of patients, passengers, and crew as core accountabilities.
Responsibilities
- Command worldwide air-ambulance missions and occasional VIP flights.
- Protect the safety of patients, VIP passengers, and crew members.
- Maintain operational readiness and safe operation of the Learjet 60.
- Coordinate flight activity with crew members, dispatch, and technical staff.
Requirements
- Hold a valid EASA ATPL and a current Learjet 60 type rating as PIC.
- Hold an unrestricted EASA Class 1 medical certificate.
- Hold an MCC qualification.
- Be flexible, work well in a team, and accept regular worldwide missions, including crisis-area operations with little standby time.
- Be willing to relocate when not already based near Nuremberg.
