Overview

SAS is recruiting experienced first officers for Embraer E195 and Airbus A320 flying across its Scandinavian network. The vacancy covers several crew bases, including Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo and Bergen, and seeks pilots who can integrate into a multi-crew airline environment. The position emphasizes professional judgement, communication, teamwork and situational awareness rather than a single aircraft-specific background. Applicants need current European licensing, medical and language credentials together with recent experience on a large multi-pilot aircraft. A Scandinavian-issued EASA licence is preferred, although another EASA licence may be accepted subject to conversion before the training course begins.

Responsibilities

- Operate as first officer within SAS multi-crew procedures on the E195 or A320 fleet.
- Use clear communication, teamwork and situational awareness during flight operations.
- Apply professional judgement and current operational knowledge throughout each assignment.

Requirements

  • Valid EASA CPL(A) or MPL and current EASA Class 1 medical.
  • At least 400 hours on an aircraft certified under CS-25 or FAR 25.
  • Completed multi-crew cooperation training.
  • ICAO English proficiency level 5 or 6.
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union.
  • All licences, ratings and medical documents must remain current.
  • A Scandinavian EASA licence is preferred; other EASA licences require conversion before course start.
  • Successful completion of required screening, security, alcohol and drug checks.
