Overview
KM Malta Airlines is recruiting type-rated Airbus A320 Direct Entry Captains for fixed-term or indefinite contracts based in Malta. The national carrier operates a single-type A320neo fleet on a scheduled European network and seeks experienced commanders who can support its safety, professionalism and operational standards. Candidates must be current on type, medically fit and licensed under European flight crew rules, with English proficiency above the normal operational minimum. The selection process includes an interview, psychometric assessment and simulator evaluation. Applicants provide supporting licence, medical and recent logbook documents. Requirements
- Hold a valid EASA Part-FCL licence.
- Hold a current A320 type rating and Class 1 medical certificate.
- Have flown the A320 within the preceding 12 months.
- Have at least 5,000 hours of flying experience on the A320.
- Have at least 1,000 PIC hours on the A320.
- Demonstrate English proficiency at Level 5 or higher.
- Provide a cover letter, licence, medical and recent logbook pages.
- Complete an interview, psychometric assessment and simulator evaluation.
