Overview
Vietjet Qazaqstan is recruiting experienced Q400 captains and type-rating instructors for its expanding operation in Kazakhstan. Based with the airline's flight operations team at Astana airport, the position offers a flexible schedule, company-provided accommodation and ground transport, covered local taxes, and medical insurance. Applicants need a current Q400 type rating, an ATPL(A) accepted under EASA, FAA, or ICAO standards, at least 3,000 total flight hours, ICAO English Level 4 or higher, and recent flying experience within the previous six to twelve months. The airline also expects knowledge of ICAO, IATA, and EASA operating standards. Applications are currently accepted through 1 January 2027.
Requirements
- Hold a valid ATPL(A) accepted under EASA, FAA, or ICAO standards.
- Hold a current Q400 type rating.
- Have at least 3,000 total flight hours.
- Demonstrate ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
- Have flown within the stated six-to-twelve-month recency window.
- Understand applicable ICAO, IATA, and EASA operational standards.
