Overview

Ventura Air Services is recruiting a home-based Citation XL pilot in command for its Part 135 operation. Pilots may live within two hours of an airport in the lower 48 states and can select from published rotational schedules. The employer seeks captains with a stable safety record, strong customer service and experience in both domestic and international operations. Applicants need an airline transport certificate, current medical, CE-560XL qualification and substantial total, command and on-type time. Recent training, additional Citation experience, international exposure and a strong Part 135 background are preferred. The role also offers opportunities to progress into instructor, standards or check-airman responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Command Citation XL flights within the operator's Part 135 programme.
- Maintain safe, dependable domestic and international operations.
- Deliver professional customer service and clear communication.
- Coordinate effectively with crew members and operational support.
- Maintain the standards required for the assigned rotational schedule.
- Support future instructor, standards or check-airman duties when qualified.

Requirements

  • At least 3,000 hours of total flight time.
  • At least 1,500 hours as PIC.
  • At least 250 hours on the CE-560XL type.
  • Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
  • Current Class 1 medical certificate.
  • Current CE-560XL type rating.
  • Ability to travel internationally without restriction.
  • Legal authorisation to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Residence within two hours of an airport in the lower 48 states.
  • Training within 36 months, 500 hours on type, international experience and Part 135 background are preferred.
