Overview

AeroLogic's Leipzig cockpit opening places a first officer on Boeing 777F long-range cargo services. The licensing route accepts an EASA-member-state ATPL, or a CPL/IR with frozen ATPL theory; another issuing authority may qualify only when Germany's LBA accepts it. Candidates need a current instrument rating, a multi-pilot type rating for aircraft above ten tonnes, and at least 500 hours on a glass-cockpit multi-pilot aircraft in that weight class. A valid medical, EU residence and work rights, and fluent German and English are mandatory. The position is permanent and belongs to the cargo airline's cockpit department.

Requirements

  • Hold an ATPL or a CPL with instrument privileges and frozen ATPL theory.
  • Use a licence from an EASA member state or another authority accepted by Germany's LBA.
  • Maintain a current instrument rating and a multi-pilot type rating for aircraft above 10 tonnes.
  • Maintain a valid aviation medical certificate.
  • Have at least 500 hours on multi-pilot glass-cockpit aircraft above 10 tonnes.
  • Have the right to live and work in the European Union.
  • Communicate fluently in German and English.
