Overview
Aero is seeking a Gulfstream G-IV first officer for private aviation operations that may involve worldwide travel and changing schedules. The pilot is expected to contribute to safe, reliable passenger journeys, work effectively with customers and fellow crew, and remain composed when operational circumstances change. The vacancy requires substantial turbine and command experience alongside a G-IV qualification, an FAA airline transport certificate, current medical fitness, and prior regulated air-carrier experience. Applicants must also satisfy security, communications, travel, work-authorisation, and drug-testing conditions.
Responsibilities
- Support safe and reliable passenger transportation.
- Work independently and collaboratively with crew members and customers.
- Adapt to changing flight schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Help protect passenger safety and comfort throughout each trip.
- Provide effective leadership during abnormal or emergency situations.
Requirements
- Hold a Gulfstream G-IV type rating and an FAA ATP certificate.
- Have at least 2,000 total hours, 1,000 turbine-jet hours, 500 PIC hours, and 100 hours on type.
- Have at least one year of Part 135 or Part 121 experience.
- Hold a current FAA First Class medical certificate and FCC radiotelephone permit.
- Maintain a current passport and unrestricted ability to travel and re-enter the United States.
- Be authorised to work in the United States.
- Pass the required criminal-history, drug, and alcohol screening.
