Overview

Alaska Seaplanes is recruiting a Cessna 208 Caravan captain for scheduled and on-demand flying from Juneau. The position involves single-pilot IFR and VFR operations under Part 135 across Southeast Alaska, carrying passengers and cargo through a demanding regional environment. The employer seeks an experienced commercial pilot with a clean regulatory history, unrestricted United States work eligibility and the flexibility to operate weekends and holidays. Prior Alaska and Caravan experience strengthen an application, but the published wording treats those items as preferences rather than mandatory minima.

Responsibilities

- Operate scheduled and on-demand Cessna 208 services safely and efficiently.
- Conduct single-pilot IFR and VFR flights under Part 135.
- Carry passengers and cargo throughout Southeast Alaska.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1,500 hours of total flight time.
  • Maintain a clean pilot record.
  • Be authorised to work in the United States.
  • Be available for weekend and holiday duties.
  • Previous Alaska flying experience is preferred.
  • At least 100 hours on the Cessna 208 is preferred.
