Overview
Thai Seaplane is recruiting a full-time Seaplane Captain in Krabi to command Cessna 208 Caravan Amphibian services over southern Thailand. The Captain operates under company procedures and Thai aviation requirements, completes inspections across each flight phase and coordinates with both ground and airborne team members. Passenger service is an explicit part of the role alongside command responsibility, operational safety and regulatory compliance. Applicants need substantial total and seaplane PIC experience, significant command time on the C208, recent flying on type and a current qualification. The company accepts an ATPL from the named international frameworks and gives preference to pilots who also hold C208 training or examiner privileges.
Responsibilities
- Command C208 Amphibian operations under company procedures.
- Complete preflight, inflight and post-flight safety inspections.
- Coordinate efficiently with ground personnel and other crewmembers.
- Provide attentive passenger service throughout each journey.
- Comply with Thai aviation requirements and company safety protocols.
- Apply sound situational awareness and operational decision-making.
Requirements
- Hold a valid ICAO, FAA or EASA ATPL.
- Have at least 3,000 hours of total flight time.
- Have at least 1,500 PIC hours on seaplanes.
- Have at least 500 PIC hours on the Cessna 208.
- Hold a current C208 qualification and Class 1 medical.
- Have flown the type within the preceding 90 days.
- Demonstrate ICAO English proficiency at Level 5 or higher.
- C208 TRI or TRE privileges are preferred.
