Overview
Cutter Aviation is hiring a Phoenix-based PC-24 Pilot in Command for full-time owner travel and on-demand charter operations under Parts 91 and 135. The role combines single-pilot command with client service, operational coordination, regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, and prompt reporting of irregularities. The captain represents the aircraft owner and the company when working with passengers and business partners, while adapting to rotating schedules and short-notice missions. Candidates must hold a multi-engine ATP and current First Class medical, or be able to obtain one, and maintain a clean recent safety, driving, and enforcement record. Previous turbojet or turboprop experience is valued. Experience levels of 3,000 total hours, 1,500 PIC hours, and 250 turbine PIC hours are preferred rather than mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Act as PC-24 pilot in command for Part 91 and 135 operations.
- Provide high-quality service to the owner and charter clients.
- Coordinate aircraft operations with the flight-management team.
- Adapt to rotating schedules, short-notice calls and on-demand missions.
- Report flight irregularities and maintain required records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable flight, currency and fitness rules.
- Complete administrative assignments from operational leadership.
Requirements
- Hold a multi-engine airline transport pilot certificate.
- Hold a current First Class medical or be able to qualify for one.
- Have no accidents, incidents or sanctions during the previous five years.
- Be able to train a second-in-command pilot.
- Pass background and drug screening and maintain a clean driving record.
- Hold a high-school diploma or GED.
- A prior turbojet rating or turboprop experience is preferred.
- 3,000 total, 1,500 PIC and 250 turbine PIC hours are desirable, not mandatory.
