Overview

Cutter Aviation is recruiting a full-time Citation Latitude CE-680A pilot in command for Phoenix-based Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter operations. The captain represents the company directly to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, passengers, and the wider business-aviation community. The role combines aircraft command with a strong service component, short-notice flexibility, regulatory compliance, reporting, and support for the second-in-command pilot. Cutter expects an experienced jet captain with substantial command time, a clean recent safety record, and the interpersonal judgement needed to maintain trusted client relationships while handling a rotating operational schedule.

Responsibilities

- Serve as pilot in command of a Citation Latitude in Part 91 and Part 135 charter operations.
- Provide high-standard service to clients and represent the company professionally.
- Adapt to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts.
- Ensure pilot and aircraft compliance with applicable FAA requirements.
- Report flight and ground-check irregularities and maintain the required records.
- Complete administrative work assigned by the Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.
- Help train the second-in-command pilot to perform assigned functions correctly.

Requirements

  • Hold a previous jet pilot-in-command type rating.
  • Have at least 3,000 hours of total flight time.
  • Have at least 1,500 pilot-in-command hours.
  • Have at least 250 PIC or SIC hours in a jet above 20,000 pounds maximum takeoff weight.
  • Hold a current FAA-issued pilot licence.
  • Hold a current First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Have no accidents, incidents, or sanctions during the previous five years.
  • Understand general-aviation aircraft service requirements and passenger and crew needs.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Pass a drug screen and background check and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Hold a high-school diploma or GED.
  • Current Part 135.293/297 jet qualification is desired.
  • FlightSafety or Simuflite training is desired.
