Overview
Fly Aeolus is recruiting freelance captains for its Cirrus SR22 and PA-46 500TP fractional-ownership operation in several European regions. Pilots take responsibility for the safe execution of customer journeys and work with the operator's support team across a varied network of regional and larger airports. The vacancy requires a European commercial licence with instrument privileges, recent single-pilot IFR and night experience, and a defined mix of total, single-piston, and instrument time. A separate FAA licence is required for the stated Liège-base arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Command fractional-ownership flights safely and professionally.
- Take operational responsibility for each assigned customer journey.
- Coordinate with the operator's support team before and during trips.
- Deliver a professional passenger experience across varied destinations.
Requirements
- Hold a valid EASA CPL with instrument privileges.
- Hold an FAA licence as well when applying for the Liège base.
- Have at least 500 total hours, including 200 hours on single-piston aircraft.
- Have at least 50 IFR hours, including 15 hours flown at night.
- Within 90 days, complete five single-pilot IFR flights with three approaches, or an accepted instrument check.
- Within 90 days, complete three single-pilot night take-offs and landings, or an accepted night check.
- Successfully complete Cirrus SR22 or PA-46 500TP training.
- Be locally available near one of the stated operating regions.
