Overview

Jet Air is recruiting Citation Captains for its Iowa City and Galesburg bases, supporting both Part 91 and Part 135 operations. A large share of the company's flying consists of day trips for local clients, and aircraft are not routinely kept on the road, giving crews more nights at home. The operator highlights its established safety-management system, maintained turbine fleet and family-oriented scheduling, including the ability to request important hard days off. Applicants must hold commercial multiengine and current instrument credentials; higher total and turbine-command experience is preferred rather than expressed as an absolute minimum. Citation experience and an ATP are also preferred, while passport, driver-licence and customer-service requirements are mandatory.

Requirements

  • Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with a multiengine rating.
  • Hold a current instrument rating and First Class medical certificate.
  • Hold a valid passport and state driver licence with an acceptable record.
  • Understand applicable FAA, FCC and environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and customer service.
  • Be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and poor weather.
  • An ATP, 3,000 total hours and 1,500 turbine or jet PIC hours are preferred.
  • Citation 500 or 560XL series experience and an FCC licence are preferred.
  • At least 250 hours of instrument and night experience are preferred.
