Overview
Jet Linx's Scottsdale Citation XLS/XLS+ pilot in command leads Part 91 and Part 135 trips while also managing duty and rest compliance, crew communication, reports, and current electronic flight materials. The logbook threshold is 3,500 total and 2,000 PIC, with 1,500 multi-engine, 500 multi-engine PIC, 500 turbine, and 300 instrument hours. Another 250 hours must be on the XLS/XLS+ as both type time and PIC on type. An ATP, First Class medical, FCC permit, passport, U.S. work rights, and successful records and drug checks are required. The pilot must live within two hours of the base and accept flexible travel.
Responsibilities
- Command Citation XLS/XLS+ flights safely under company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Manage duty and rest compliance, crew communications, and operational reports.
- Maintain current electronic flight-bag content, charts, and manuals.
- Apply sound aeronautical decision-making throughout each assignment.
Requirements
- Hold an airline transport pilot certificate and be able to meet applicable captain qualification standards.
- Have at least 3,500 total hours and 2,000 PIC hours.
- Have 1,500 multi-engine hours, including 500 multi-engine PIC hours.
- Have 500 turbine hours and 300 instrument hours.
- Have 250 hours on type, including 250 PIC hours on type.
- Maintain a First Class medical certificate, FCC permit, and valid passport.
- Be authorised to work in the United States and able to travel to Canada and the Caribbean.
- Live within two hours of Scottsdale or relocate, and pass required records and substance checks.
- Accept a flexible schedule; a degree or equivalent background is requested.
