Overview

Million Air is recruiting a Houston-based Lear 60XR pilot in command for full-time Part 135 charter flying with American Jet International. The captain provides safe and secure transport tailored to client needs, works closely with the safety manager, and represents the operator directly to aircraft owners and passengers. Duties include checking cabin presentation before customer arrival and communicating passenger preferences promptly to flight operations. The schedule varies and can include evenings, weekends, and company holidays, while pilots must live within 45 minutes of the base airport.

Responsibilities

- Protect operational safety in coordination with the safety manager.
- Welcome customers professionally and build rapport with aircraft owners and passengers.
- Inspect the aircraft for cleanliness and upkeep before customers arrive.
- Communicate promptly with flight operations and relay customer preferences.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2,000 hours of total flight time.
  • Hold a valid First Class medical certificate.
  • Meet the applicable requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) and 135.243(c).
  • Develop strong knowledge of applicable federal aviation regulations and company procedures.
  • An ATP certificate and previous Part 135 experience are preferred.
  • Have an acceptable driving record and pass the required background check.
  • Meet the employer's drug-free workplace condition.
  • Live within 45 minutes of the base airport.
  • Be available for varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and company holidays.
  • Provide the vaccination evidence explicitly requested by the current employer posting.
