Overview
Million Air is recruiting a CE-500 second in command for its Houston operation. The pilot supports safe charter flying, works with the safety manager, maintains professional customer relationships and helps keep the aircraft presentable and operationally ready. The position also requires clear communication about passenger preferences and trip needs. A commercial pilot certificate and a stated total-flight-time threshold are essential, while airline transport eligibility and previous Part 135 experience are preferred. Candidates need a current medical, must satisfy applicable federal operating and screening requirements, and must live within the specified commuting distance of the Houston base.
Responsibilities
- Support safe CE-500 operations and coordinate with the safety manager.
- Build professional rapport with passengers and customers.
- Help maintain aircraft cleanliness, presentation and general readiness.
- Communicate passenger preferences and trip requirements to relevant teams.
- Apply company procedures and applicable Part 135 operating standards.
Requirements
- At least 1,000 hours of total flight time.
- Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Current Class 1 medical certificate.
- Ability to satisfy applicable Part 135.243 qualification requirements.
- Airline Transport Pilot minimums are preferred.
- Previous Part 135 experience is preferred.
- Residence within approximately 45 minutes of the Houston base.
- Successful driving-record, background and substance screening.
