Overview
Royal Brunei Airlines is recruiting experienced Airbus A320 Captains for a renewable 24-month contract based in Bandar Seri Begawan. The non-commuting assignment averages approximately 60 to 70 flying hours per month and is available for an immediate 2026 start. Candidates must be current as A320 commanders and provide recent licence, proficiency-check, medical, logbook and operating-history evidence. The screening process combines a virtual interview, simulator assessment and security review. Royal Brunei publishes a package including annual leave, housing and education allowances, travel benefits, medical and personal insurance and loss-of-licence cover. The role is aimed at senior fixed-wing pilots with advanced English proficiency and a clean safety and criminal record.
Requirements
- Have at least 5,000 hours of fixed-wing total flight time.
- Have at least 1,000 PIC hours on the Airbus A320 family.
- Hold a valid ATPL with current A320 type and instrument ratings.
- A United Kingdom ATPL is preferred, although other licences may be considered.
- Hold English proficiency at Level 6.
- Hold a Class 1 medical valid for at least six months from joining.
- Hold an A320 PIC proficiency check valid for at least six months from joining.
- Be under 60 years of age.
- Provide current passport, logbook, check-report and licence-verification records.
- Provide a recent accident-, incident- and criminal-record history when requested.
