Overview

Triton Airways is accepting captain applications for home-based or Lexington-based assignments on aircraft that include the King Air 200. The pilot in command operates company-owned and managed aircraft, delivers private-club service and retains clear command authority for routing, speed, timing and in-flight decisions. Captains inspect the aircraft, monitor readiness, coordinate maintenance discrepancies and maintain accurate logs. The vacancy requires substantial total, multi-engine, command and turbine experience, a suitable type rating and recent activity on one of the operator's aircraft families. Federal medical, testing, citizenship and driving-document conditions also apply to all candidates.

Responsibilities

- Command company-owned and managed aircraft and protect passenger safety and comfort.
- Determine routes, speeds and operating times to meet scheduling needs.
- Coordinate aircraft discrepancies with maintenance personnel.
- Apply domestic, international and company operating procedures.
- Exercise clear command authority and make timely operational decisions.
- Inspect aircraft, fuel and fluids before departure and confirm readiness.
- Maintain accurate operational records and flight logs.
- Mentor crew members and model effective teamwork.

Requirements

  • At least 3,000 hours of total flight time.
  • At least 1,500 hours on multi-engine aircraft.
  • At least 1,500 hours as PIC.
  • At least 500 hours of turbine time.
  • Airline Transport Pilot licence with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
  • Type rating for King Air 200/300/350 or another listed company airframe.
  • Recent experience on one of the listed airframes within the preceding 24 months.
  • Current FAA Class 2 medical and ability to pass federal examinations and proficiency checks.
  • United States citizenship and valid driving licence.
  • No disqualifying incidents, accidents or certificate actions.
