Overview

TSC is recruiting deployed King Air pilots for maritime-surveillance work in the Pacific on rotations of approximately three months. The vacancy combines pilot-in-command and second-in-command pathways. PIC duties include functional-check, transit, and surveillance flights, full planning and risk management, crew briefings, records, reporting, and customer communications; SICs assist across these tasks. Because the two ranks have different total, command, multi-engine, type, and recency minima, no single flight-time figure applies to every applicant. United States and Australian licensing routes are expressly accepted.

Responsibilities

- Conduct maritime-surveillance, transit, and assigned functional-check flights.
- Prepare routes, weather, fuel, flight plans, risk assessments, and weight and balance.
- Complete pre-flight inspections and crew briefings.
- Verify emergency equipment and aircraft readiness.
- Maintain operational records and mission reports.
- Communicate with company and customer representatives.
- SICs assist the PIC with checklists, radio work, and documentation.
- Deploy for rotations of approximately three months.

Requirements

  • Hold FAA commercial AMEL and instrument privileges, or accepted CASA equivalents.
  • Hold an FAA Second Class medical certificate or accepted equivalent.
  • PIC route: 1,500 total, 1,000 PIC, 500 AMEL, 250 BE200/350, and 50 recent AMEL hours.
  • SIC route: 750 total, 100 PIC, 200 AMEL, and 50 recent AMEL hours.
  • Be at least 23 years old.
  • Hold a United States or Australian passport.
  • Communicate effectively in English.
  • Be available for deployments lasting about three months.
