Overview
TUI Belgium is recruiting a Boeing 737 type-rated first officer at Zaventem on a permanent 80-percent contract. The pilot joins a variable, non-commuting roster and must report to Brussels Airport within 120 minutes during standby. Required credentials are an unrestricted EASA ATPL or frozen ATPL, completed 737 base training, EASA Class 1 medical, and ICAO English level 4. An EU, Swiss, or EEA passport must remain valid for six months beyond training start and allow worldwide travel. Unrestricted Belgian work and residence rights, EU flight-crew clearance, and successful aviation-security checks are also necessary. Experienced captains provide active mentoring after entry.
Responsibilities
- Perform first-officer duties on TUI's Boeing 737 operation.
- Support the captain and contribute to safe, customer-focused flight delivery.
- Develop professionally through active mentoring and wider airline opportunities.
- Work a variable roster without a fixed pattern.
Requirements
- Hold an unrestricted, valid EASA ATPL or frozen ATPL.
- Hold a valid Boeing 737 type rating with completed base training.
- Maintain a valid EASA Class 1 medical certificate.
- Demonstrate ICAO English level 4 or higher.
- Hold an EU, Swiss, or EEA passport valid for at least six months from training start and allowing worldwide travel.
- Have unrestricted rights to live and work in Belgium.
- Pass aviation security checks and meet EU flight-crew clearance rules.
- Be able to report to Brussels Airport within 120 minutes while on standby.
- Accept a variable roster and non-commuting contract.
