Overview

Vietravel Airlines is recruiting line Captains for A320-family operations from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and other airports assigned by the airline. Captains are accountable for maintaining high standards of operational safety, security, and adherence to company procedures and regulatory requirements. The vacancy accepts two distinct command-experience pathways: current A320-family commanders may qualify with a lower on-type PIC threshold, while experienced heavy-aircraft captains can enter an A320 type-rating course. Because these routes use different PIC minima and the published 3,000-hour figure applies specifically to airline jet time rather than total flight time, both structured time fields remain unset. Applications remain open through 31 December 2026.

Responsibilities

- Carry out flight-operations tasks assigned by the airline.
- Ensure duties are completed accurately and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Male applicants must be younger than 60 and female applicants younger than 55.
  • Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Vietnamese ATPL and instrument rating.
  • Hold a current Class 1 medical certificate.
  • Demonstrate English proficiency at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
  • Have at least 3,000 hours on commercial-airline jet aircraft.
  • Qualify through either 500 PIC hours on the A320 family or 1,500 PIC hours on aircraft above 50,000 kilograms MTOW.
  • Heavy-aircraft pathway candidates must complete an A320-family type-rating course before line operation.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, decisiveness, communication and situational awareness.
  • Submit the completed company application form with the required documents.
