Overview

Air Z Flying Service is advertising a Commercial Pilot position at Cuyahoga County Airport in Richmond Heights, Ohio. The pilot conducts unscheduled and charter missions in single- and multiengine aircraft, with extensive travel across the eastern United States and approximately two overnight trips each month. Beyond flying, the position combines preflight preparation, passenger-comfort checks, aircraft maintenance oversight, operational recordkeeping and support for company pilot-document compliance. The successful candidate will also update scheduling and maintenance systems and provide flight information for customer billing. The role therefore suits a commercially qualified pilot who is comfortable with both line flying and the administrative coordination needed in a small charter operation.

- Prepare aircraft and verify that passenger-comfort supplies are aboard.
- Oversee maintenance status and regulatory fitness before flight.
- Update operational status boards and tracking software.

- Report completed flights for customer accounting and billing.
- Travel extensively across the eastern United States.

Requirements

  • Hold a Commercial Pilot Licence with single-engine and multiengine land privileges.
  • Hold a Class II FAA medical certificate.

  • Have at least 500 hours in turbine-powered aeroplanes.
  • Be able to operate turbocharged and pressurised aircraft.
