Overview
Atlas Air Ambulance needs a Jacksonville PC-12 pilot in command for single-pilot Part 135 medical transport. The captain controls routing, weather, fuel, performance, weight and balance, aircraft readiness, and the records attached to each mission. Minimum experience comprises 2,000 total hours, 1,200 PIC, 500 turbine, 200 instrument, and 100 hours commanding the PC-12, with type recency inside twelve months. An FAA Commercial certificate with multi-engine and instrument privileges, an FAA First or Second Class medical, FCC permit, passport, U.S. driving licence, work authorisation, and successful screening are necessary. Scheduling is flexible and the pilot must remain professionally current.
Responsibilities
- Exercise operational control and command each assigned PC-12 flight.
- Review weather, routing, performance, fuel, and weight-and-balance information.
- Confirm aircraft readiness and complete required operational records.
- Maintain training, currency, regulatory compliance, and professional conduct.
Requirements
- Hold an FAA Commercial certificate with multi-engine and instrument privileges.
- Maintain an FAA First or Second Class medical certificate.
- Be current and qualified on the Pilatus PC-12.
- Have at least 2,000 total hours and 1,200 PIC hours.
- Have at least 100 PC-12 PIC hours and 500 turbine hours.
- Have at least 200 instrument hours and recent PC-12 experience within 12 months.
- Hold a U.S. driving licence, FCC permit, passport, and U.S. work authorisation.
- Pass required background and substance screening and accept a flexible schedule.
