Overview
Metro Aviation is recruiting a PC-12 pilot in command for the AirLink critical-care transport programme in Bend, Oregon. The full-time role operates on a rotating shift pattern and places the captain in final operational authority for the assigned aircraft. Duties span safe flight execution, regulatory compliance, preflight and airworthiness checks, aircraft servicing, operational-control functions, customer communication, and care of the aircraft. The assignment requires extensive total and command experience plus defined cross-country, night, instrument, and type time. Candidates must be prepared for annual training, occasional additional shifts, and the physical demands of an air-medical operating environment. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
- Exercise final operational authority over the assigned PC-12.
- Operate professionally with customers, colleagues, management and the public.
- Follow the published work and training schedule and cover occasional extra shifts.
- Comply with company manuals, operating specifications and federal regulations.
- Perform the pilot duties assigned within the operational-control system.
- Complete preflight inspections and verify continued aircraft airworthiness.
- Arrange necessary aircraft servicing, including fuel and oxygen.
- Ensure the assigned aircraft and medical cabin are maintained in proper condition.
Requirements
- Hold an FAA single-engine Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Hold a current competency check, proficiency check or flight review.
- Hold an FAA Second Class medical certificate.
- Hold a valid driving licence.
- Have at least 2,500 hours of total flight time.
- Have at least 1,000 PIC hours.
- Have at least 50 hours on type.
- Have at least 500 cross-country hours.
- Have at least 100 night hours.
- Have at least 75 instrument hours, including 50 hours in flight.
- Be able to lift 40 pounds and meet the position's other physical demands.
- Air-medical, single-pilot IFR, NVG and ATP experience are preferred.
