Overview
BJA is hiring a Citation CJ2 captain for its Berlin business aviation operation. The commander will operate Cessna 525-series charter flights while maintaining safe, customer-focused service and compliance with the operator's manuals, approvals, and European aviation requirements. The position is open to qualified captains with the required total experience, while an existing C525 type rating is preferred rather than mandatory. Candidates should bring mature crew resource management, professional judgement, flexibility, and a constructive approach to improving operational quality within a small, service-oriented flight department.
Responsibilities
- Command Citation CJ2 charter flights safely and efficiently.
- Operate in accordance with EASA requirements, the operator's AOC, and company procedures.
- Maintain professional, customer-focused conduct throughout each assignment.
- Apply effective crew resource management and sound operational judgement.
- Contribute to the continuing improvement of flight operations and safety practices.
Requirements
- Hold an EASA ATPL(A), or an EASA CPL with completed ATPL theory credit.
- Have at least 1,700 hours of total flight time.
- Hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- Have completed multi-crew cooperation and advanced upset-prevention and recovery training.
- A current C525 type rating is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrate English proficiency at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
- Hold a valid EU work permit and passport.
- Hold a category B driving licence.
